Repair Prius Multi-Function Display

My 2004 Prius Multi-Function Display (MFD) has stopped working for a year. The problem was probably related to loose connection on the circuit board as the display would work some times for a few minutes.
I found this howto for the fix.
The tools I used: a piece of wood strip to plier the panels open from the dashboard, a Philips screwdriver, a plier, a magnifying glass (I had used one for viewing films), a lamp, and a solder with small tip.
Based on the howto, viewing under the magnifying glass and direct lighting from the lamp, I used the solder to retouch the Pin 60 and a few other pins on the connector between the two boards.
It works beautifully after I put the MFD assembly back.
